Sociologist wins best article award

A paper written by Marion Fourcade-Gourinchas has been selected by the Sociology of Culture section of the American Sociological Association as the winner of its best article award.
Fourcade-Gourinchas will be a research staff member and lecturer in Princeton's Department of Sociology in the coming academic year. She wrote "Politics, Institutional Structure and the Rise of Economics: A Comparative Study" for the June 2001 issue of Theory and Society.
The award will be presented at the American Sociological Association conference this summer.
