Campus computer networking fees reduced

The Office of Information Technology has announced that the fees to plug into the Tigernet computer network have been reduced. Due to an increasing number of activated network ports across campus, the shared expenses of network installation and maintenance have gone down per user.

The 10 MB port charge has been reduced by 19 percent to $3.60 per month. The 100 MB port charge has been dropped by more than 40 percent to $7.20 per month. The wireless access point charge was reduced by more than 30 percent to $41 per month. Other rates, such as the host charge, will remain the same.
