New digital slide service offered to faculty

The Educational Technologies Center has begun offering two new services related to the use of digital images and slides for teaching.
Faculty members may request that a batch of slides be digitized and placed online on a Princeton Internet server. These images can then be catalogued by the faculty member or a selected student, with the help of center's staff. They will be searchable and can be organized into online groupings for projection in class and viewing at student workstations.
In addition, the center can now make 35 mm slides from digital images. Faculty members will upload their digitized images directly to the center's "Almagest" database, which should be familiar to many who are using it to build digital lectures for the classroom.
To request these slide services, contact the center at 258-6903 or e-mail Eva Rosen .
