'Z' and 'Thirteen' to be shown at Frist, Dec. 4-6

The Undergraduate Film Organization will show "Z" as the final screening of its fall film series, "Conspiracy, Real and Imagined," at 10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in McCosh 10.
The group also will show "Thirteen" at 11:15 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 4-6, in the Frist Campus Center theater.
"Z," winner of the 1970 Academy Award for best foreign film, revolves around the investigation of the assassination of a left-wing Greek politician and his government's cover-up attempts. The film was directed by Costa-Gavras. The screening is free and open to the public.
"Thirteen," directed by Catherine Hardwicke, tells the story of two 13-year-old girls who slide into dangerous experimentation with sex, drinking and drugs. Tickets are $2 and are available at the Frist ticket office, (609) 258-1742.
