An event titled "The First Class: Princeton 30 Years After Co-Education" is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in the Whig Hall Senate Chamber.
Sponsored by the Organization of Women Leaders , it will feature a discussion by five members of the class of 1973 -- the first fully co-educational class to graduate from Princeton. They are Margaret Cannella, Ellen Ebert, Sally Fields, Harriet Hawkins and Robin Krasny.
These women include an art historian, a surgeon, a lawyer and a financial executive. They will discuss their lives at Princeton in the days when women on campus were either a novelty or a controversy and how the University has influenced their lives since graduation.
