Levin chosen for landscape ecology award

Simon Levin has been selected to receive the Distinguished Landscape Ecologist Award from the U.S. Regional Association of the International Association for Landscape Ecology .
Levin is the George Moffett Professor of Biology in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. The association recognized him as a "creative scholar and a prolific author of numerous books and articles that have greatly influenced the direction of landscape ecology."
