Economist to present heterodox perspective on globalization, March 27

for Whom? A Heterodox Perspective" is the topic for a lecture to be presented at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in 15 Robertson Hall. Jomo K.S. (Kwame Sundaram), professor of applied economics at the University of Malaya, will present the talk, which is part of the Southeast Asia Lecture Series.
One of the most influential and prolific scholars in Malaysia, Jomo has written more than 30 monographs and edited some 40 books. He is on the board of the United National Research Institute on Social Development in Geneva and is the founding president of International Development Economics Associates.
The Southeast Asia Lecture Series is sponsored by the Center of International Studies , the East Asian Studies Program , the Council on Regional Studies , the Graduate School and Foreign Policy in Focus.
