String quartet to perform student and faculty works, Oct. 24

The Brentano String Quartet , Princeton University's award winning ensemble-in-residence, will perform the works of graduate students and faculty in the Department of Music at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, in Taplin Auditorium, Fine Hall
The concert, sponsored by the Princeton Composers' Ensemble , will be followed by a reception. The group will present compositions by students Betsey Briggs and Ted Coffey and by Assistant Professors Dan Trueman and Dmitri Tymoczko.
