The Office of Environmental Health and Safety has redesigned its Web site to provide a more user-friendly and one-stop approach for accessing safety information.
The office provides a wide range of safety and health services to faculty, staff and students, ranging from ergonomics to laboratory safety, from theater safety to radiation safety, from facilities maintenance safety to food protection, and much more.
To introduce the new site's features, the office is sponsoring a Web Site Scavenger Hunt for members of the University community, beginning Monday, Nov. 24, and ending Friday, Dec. 5. Starting from the scavenger hunt page , participants will answer a series of safety-related questions using readily available information found on the environmental health and safety site and through the site's search capabilities.
Each person who successfully completes the scavenger hunt will be entered into a drawing, and each of the five winners may choose to receive either $30 in dining service points or $30 in PawPoints redeemable at a variety of local merchants. Scavenger hunt winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail on Monday, Dec 8.
