Glover to deliver Tanner Lectures on Human Values, Feb. 12-13

Humanism in Psychiatry" will be the theme of the two Tanner Lectures on Human Values to be delivered at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 12-13, in McCosh 10. Jonathan Glover, professor of ethics and director of the Centre for Medical Law and Ethics at King's College London, will present the talks.
Glover's most recent book is titled "Humanity: A Moral History of the 20th Century." He has also edited "Women, Culture and Development: A Study of Human Capabilities" (with Martha Nussbaum) and "Utilitarianism and Its Critics."
