ABC News correspondent to discuss women in power, Dec. 8

ABC News correspondent Lynn Sherr will speak at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in Whig Hall's Stokes Lounge at a gathering for members of the University community sponsored by the Organization of Women Leaders .
Sherr is expected to talk about women in power and Susan B. Anthony. A correspondent for programs including "World News Tonight" and "20/20," she has reported on national politics, NASA space shuttle missions, social change and world affairs. She also has covered women's issues and won the Peabody Award in 1994 for her reporting on anorexia.
An accomplished writer, Sherr is the author of the book, "Failure Is Impossible: Susan B. Anthony in Her Own Words," and numerous articles in The New York Times, Saturday Review and other publications. For more information, contact Libby Shutkin
