Carnegie Endowment VP to speak on nonproliferation, April 13

A lecture on "The Future of Nonproliferation" is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, in 16 Robertson Hall.
Speaking will be George Perkovich, vice president for studies at the Carnegie Endowment for Peace. He is the author of the recent Carnegie report, "WMD in Iraq: Evidence and Implications."
Prior to joining the Carnegie Endowment in 2002, Perkovich was deputy director for programs and director of the Secure World Program of the W. Alton Jones Foundation. He oversaw $26 million in annual grantmaking and also designed and implemented initiatives to further the board's mandate of reducing the risk of nuclear war.
