Posted November 8, 2004; 06:15 p.m.
A student panel discussion on the University's civic values is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in 1 Robertson Hall.
Seven undergraduates formed the Student Task Force on Civic Values last year to examine the ways in which Princeton prepares its students for "active citizenship" and to offer recommendations on ways to strengthen the University's commitment to civic values. A report on the group's yearlong study is available online in PDF format.
The panel will be moderated by Anne-Marie Slaughter, dean of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. It is sponsored by the Wilson School, Princeton Project 55 and the Pace Center for Community Service.
