Libson to speak on Jewish and Islamic law, Feb. 18

Gideon Libson will deliver a lecture titled "Jewish Law and Islamic Law to the Time of the Maimonides" at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, in 1 Robertson Hall.
Libson is a professor of Jewish and Islamic law and the holder of the Frieda and Solomon B. Rosenzweig Chair in Law at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Near Eastern Studies , the Ronald O. Perelman Institute for Judaic Studies and the Department of Religion.
