Linder wins Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship

Katherine Linder, who graduated from Princeton in June and is headed to Cambridge University, has been awarded a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship. The scholarships provide each winner with an annual award of up to $50,000 for the length of their graduate or professional degree programs.
Linder was one of 39 winners of the Cooke scholarships, chosen from a pool of 1,226 nominees from 747 colleges and universities nationwide. She earned a bachelor's degree in history and a certificate in contemporary European politics and society at Princeton and was a co-winner of the University's Moses Taylor Pyne Prize, the highest general distinction conferred on an undergraduate.
Linder will pursue a master's degree in modern European history at Cambridge. She eventually hopes to earn a Ph.D. and to pursue a career in teaching, diplomatic service or university administration.
