Lecture goes 'Beyond Black and White,' April 20

A lecture on "Yellow: Race in America Beyond Black and White" is set for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, in 302 Frist Campus Center.

Frank Wu, author of a 2002 book by the same title and professor of law at Howard University, will discuss race relations and civil rights in a diverse democracy. He also is the co-author of "Race, Rights and Reparation: Law and the Japanese American Internment" (2001).

A reception and book signing will follow the lecture, which is sponsored by the Fields Center , the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Planning Committee, the Asian American Students Association, the International Center, the Bildner Fund and the Program in American Studies.
