Summer theater opens season with comedy, June 17-July 4

Princeton Summer Theater will open its 31st season with "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" Thursdays through Sundays, June 17-July 4, in the Hamilton-Murray Theater on campus.
Princeton Summer Theater is a summer stock company of young professionals and university students interested in pursing careers in theater and drama. The first production will be directed by Princeton student Marisol Rosa-Shapiro.
In the comedy by Jess Winfield, Adam Long and Daniel Singer, all 37 of Shakespeare's plays are presented in 90 minutes with sometimes hilarious results. The production is intended for all ages.
Show times are: 8 p.m. June 17-20, June 24-27 and July 1-4; and 2 p.m. Saturdays, June 26 and July 3.
General admission tickets are $13 for Thursday and Friday shows and $15 for Saturday and Sunday shows. Discounts are available for seniors, students, university faculty, camp students and other groups. Season packages also are being sold.
