Biden to discuss 'Enlightened Nationalism,' Feb. 23

U.S. Sen. Joseph Biden will present a lecture, "A New American Foreign Policy: Moving Toward Enlightened Nationalism," at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall.
A senator from Delaware since 1972, Biden is the ranking Democratic member of the Foreign Relations Committee and the party's chief spokesman on national security and foreign policy issues.
Biden is a central player on a number of major issues, including crime prevention, constitutional law, international relations and arms control. He wrote the law creating the position of federal drug czar and is the author of the landmark Violence Against Women Act of 2000.
His lecture is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs . It is free and open to the public.
