Death penalty is focus of debate, April 23

Members of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society will debate the merits of the death penalty in the criminal justice system at 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 23, in the Whig Hall Senate Chamber.
Debaters will include junior Katherine Reilly and seniors Christian Asmar, Nick Pilchak and Steph Tatham. The topic is "Resolved: A Just Society Should Use the Death Penalty in the Criminal Justice System."
The debate is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
