Hindu scholar to speak philosophy of Shankara, April 24

Swami Tadatmananda Saraswati, a well-known scholar of Hinduism, will speak on "The Philosophy of Adi Shankara" at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in 101 McCormick.
Tadatmananda, one of few Westerners initiated into a traditional Hindu monastic order, is a resident teacher of Sanskrit and Vedanta at the Arsha Bodha Center in Somerset, N.J. His address will focus on one of the most influential thinkers in the Hindu spiritual tradition.
Refreshments will follow the lecture. The event is part of the Shankara Jayanti Celebration organized by the Princeton Hindu Satsangam and the South Asian Students Association .
The event is sponsored by the Office of Religious Life . It is free and open to the public.
