O'Donovan to discuss 'International Judgment,' April 1

Oliver O'Donovan, a leading European ethicist, will speak on "International Judgment" at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, in 101 McCormick.
O'Donovan, the Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology at the University of Oxford and canon of Christ Church, is an authority on the history of Christian social and political thought, especially the just war tradition. He will address questions of empire and international relations in political theology, and relate this history to debates about authority and political judgment in light of contemporary world events.
The lecture is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Religion , Department of Religion , Office of Religious Life and Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies .
