Summer theater presents 'Proof,' July 8-18

Princeton Summer Theater will present David Auburn's "Proof" Thursdays through Sundays, July 8-18, in the Hamilton-Murray Theater on campus.
Princeton Summer Theater is a summer stock company of young professionals and university students interested in pursing careers in theater and drama. This production will be directed by Princeton student Jed Peterson.
"Proof" won both the Pulitzer Prize for drama and the Tony Award for best play in 2001. It is the story of Catherine, an enigmatic young woman, who faces the challenges of a genius father, an unexpected suitor and a mysterious mathematical proof.
Show times are: 8 p.m. July 8-10 and July 15-17; and 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, and Sundays, July 11 and 18. Post-performance discussions will take place on Fridays.
General admission tickets are $13 for Thursday and Friday shows and $15 for Saturday and Sunday shows. Discounts are available for seniors, students, university faculty, camp students and other groups. Season packages also are being sold.
