Kopp to speak in forum on educational inequities, Dec. 2

Teach for America president Wendy Kopp will be among the participants in a panel discussion on "Educational Inequities: Strategies to Close the Achievement Gap" at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall.
Kopp, a member of Princeton's class of 1989, founded Teach for America, a program in which recent college graduates teach in public schools. She will be joined on the panel by Dallas Dixon, a member of Princeton's class of 1974 and headmaster of the Emily Fisher Charter School in Trenton, and Jason Klugman, program administrator for the University's Program in Teacher Preparation .
The discussion is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and the Pace Center for Community Service.
