Lecture focuses on Russia's future, Dec. 2

Fiona Hill, a senior fellow in the Foreign Policy Studies Program at the Brookings Institution, will deliver a talk titled "Whither Putin's Russia" at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, in 2 Robertson Hall.
Hill has researched and published extensively on a diverse range of issues related to Russia, relations among the former Soviet states, the Caucasus region, Central Asia, ethno-political conflicts in Eurasia, and energy and strategic issues.
Prior to joining Brookings, Hill was director of strategic planning at the Eurasia Foundation in Washington, D.C. She also has served as associate director of the Strengthening Democratic Institutions Project at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government
