IMAP e-mail unavailable beginning at 7 p.m., Jan. 20

The University's standard IMAP e-mail and Webmail services -- used by faculty and staff members and graduate students -- will be unavailable beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, while the Office of Information Technology performs maintenance on the system.
The length of the outage is unknown. IMAP e-mail accounts have been experiencing intermittent problems throughout the day.
Updates will be posted on the OIT Help Desk Web site.
Undergraduate students use a different IMAP e-mail system and will not be affected. Users of the Exchange e-mail service also will not be affected.
