Public safety department hosts leadership conference

Princeton University is hosting dozens of law enforcement
executives from the tri-state area this week during the Federal Bureau
of Investigation’s Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development
Seminar (LEEDS), which begins Sunday and concludes with a graduation
ceremony on Friday, June 10.
“The FBI LEEDS regional command colleges are invaluable to law
enforcement CEOs, providing up-to-date training in leadership and
management, legal issues and media relations,” said Steven Healy,
Princeton’s public safety director and director of Mid-Atlantic LEEDs.
“Princeton has supported this significant endeavor since 1993.”
Most of the sessions are led by FBI special agents and other law
enforcement officers and include hot topics such as identity theft,
fraud and computer-related crimes. Keynote speakers include Roger
Hughes, Princeton’s football coach, and Cassandra Chandler, the FBI’s
highest-ranking woman who serves as assistant director of public
affairs.
