Film explores 'Legacy of Cotton,' Sept. 28

"Lalee's Kin: The Legacy of Cotton," a documentary about poverty and education in the Mississippi Delta, will be screened at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Betts Auditorium, Architecture Building.
Filmmaker Susan Froemke will take questions after the screening, which is sponsored by the programs in American and African-American studies.
The film is part of a series, "American Visions in Documentary," being organized by Sheila Curran Bernard, the Anschutz Distinguished Fellow in the Program in American Studies. For more information, visit the program's Web site.
