Purchasing department wins national award

Princeton's purchasing department has been awarded the 2005 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award by a group of leading industry associations.
The award recognizes public or nonprofit organizations that demonstrate excellence in procurement through several criteria, including innovation, professionalism, productivity and e-procurement. It is the second consecutive award for the Princeton department.
The award is sponsored by the National Purchasing Institute, the Institute for Supply Management, the California Association of Public Purchasing Officers, the Florida Association of Public Purchasing Officers and the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.
