Forum focuses on intellectuals and the institution, Feb. 7

A public forum titled "Intellectuals and the Institution: What's In
the Service of the Nation?" is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, in
McCosh 10.
Three panelists will discuss Princeton's reception of government
figures as well as the role of academia in relation to government in
times of war.
Participating will be: Anne-Marie Slaughter, dean of the Woodrow Wilson
School of Public and International Affairs; Cornel West, the Class of
1943 University Professor of Religion; and Mark Bruzonsky, a journalist
who earned his MPA in 1973 from the Wilson School.
The event is sponsored by Dollars and Sins, the Princeton Justice
Project, Princeton Progressive Nation, the Council of the Humanities,
the Program in African American Studies, the Coalition for Peace
Action, the Wilson School, the Pace Center and the Undergraduate
Student Government.
