LAPA fellow to speak on regulation and law, April 4

Elizabeth Magill, the John V. Ray Research Professor at the
University of Virginia School of Law, will speak at noon Tuesday, April
4, at 210 Dickinson Hall.
Magill currently is a fellow in the Program in Law and Public Affairs
of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. She
is working on a book project and will present a related
work-in-progress paper titled “1966-1976: The Health, Safety and
Environmental Regulatory Revolution and American Law.”
The lecture is sponsored by the Modern America Workshop, the Department of History,
the Davis Center for Historical Studies, the Program in African
American Studies and the Graduate School. Lunch will be provided.
