Reporter discusses 'Fight Club Politics,' April 11

Washington Post reporter Juliet Eilperin will deliver a lecture
titled "Fight Club Politics: Fear and Loathing Inside the Beltway, and
How It's Ruining Congress" at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in 16
Robertson Hall.
The lecture is based on Eilperin's new book, "Fight Club Politics: How Partisanship Is Poisoning the House of Representatives."
Eilperin joined the Post in 1998 as a congressional reporter, covering
the impeachment of President Clinton and four national congressional
campaigns, among other topics. Since 2004 she has covered the
environment, reporting on science, policy and politics in areas
including climate change, oceans and air quality.
Eilperin is a 1992 graduate of Princeton, where she earned a bachelor's
degree in politics with a certificate in Latin American studies. In
2004-05, she served as a visiting professor of journalism at Princeton,
teaching political reporting.
Prior to joining the Post, Eilperin wrote for the States News Service and Roll Call.
