Thesis production features dance and poetry, April 28-29

"Fugue State," a senior thesis production by Silas Riener featuring dance and poetry, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 28-29, in the Chancellor Green rotunda. A matinee performance is set for 1 p.m. April 29.
The performance is directed by Riener, a comparative literature major who is earning certificates in dance and creative writing. The show will feature poetry readings and choreography by Riener, as well as a performance of "Falling Awake" by Rebecca Lazier, a lecturer in the Program in Theater and Dance.
Riener, who began studying dance at Princeton, performed the lead roles in the University's productions of Prokofiev's "Le Pas D’Acier" ("The Steel Step") and Nijinsky's "L’Apres Midi d’une Faun." ("The Afternoon of a Faun"). He will attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts after graduating from Princeton.
