Sympoh presents spring show, April 20-22

Sympoh Urban Arts Crew, a student breakdancing group, will perform its annual spring show, "Mission: Sympossible," at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, April 20-22, at the Frist Campus Center theater. A matinee performance also is scheduled for 2 p.m. April 22.

"Mission: Sympossible" will feature a mix of freestyle breakdancing, hip-hop, popping, martial arts, acrobatics, comedy and a live breakdance battle. The show also will include guest appearances by the Princeton Juggling Club, the Black Arts Company and the Sesame Street Crew. A video trailer for the performance is available online.

Sympoh was founded in 1999 by four Princeton students looking to create an outlet for the urban arts on campus. The group has grown in size and now incorporates a wide range of styles and forms to complement its breakdancing foundation.

Sympoh performs several freestyle events every month and an annual breakdancing battle in addition to its spring show.

Tickets for "Mission: Sympossible" are $6 for students, $10 for others and free for Passport to the Arts ticket holders. They can be purchased online through University Ticketing or by calling the Frist ticket office at (609) 258-1742.
