L'Atelier to present French comedy, April 27-29

L'Atelier, the French Theater Workshop at Princeton, will present a
comedy by French playwright Georges Feydeau at 8 p.m. Thursday through
Saturday, April 27-29, at the Matthews Acting Studio, 185 Nassau St.
Directed by Florent Masse, a lecturer in the Department of French and
Italian, this production of "Un fil a la patte" (1893) will be the
third play by Feydeau performed by L'Atelier. The story details the
life of an aristocratic Parisian who must inform his lover, a notorious
diva, of his impending marriage to another woman, the daughter of a
wealthy baroness.
The cast consists of undergraduate and graduate students who are
advanced L'Atelier performers. The production marks the fifth
anniversary of L'Atelier on campus.
The performance is sponsored by the Department of French and Italian
and the Center for French Studies. Admission is free, but reservations
