Frist open house set for Sept. 13

The campus community is invited to attend the Frist Campus Center's annual open house on Wednesday, Sept. 13. The activities are free and open to all students, faculty and staff.

From noon to 4 p.m. on the 100 level, the center's seventh open house will feature free samplings courtesy of Dining Services; and information and resource tables on campus life including the Community Based Learning Initiative, Educational Technology Center, Facilities Department, Fields Center, Graduate Student Government, International Center, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Center, McGraw Center, Pace Center, Office of Religious Life, Ombuds Office, Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall, Student Agencies and Women's Center.

Commemorative gifts will be given away while supplies last. Live entertainment will be provided by the Leslie Ford Jazz Ensemble of the Jazz Institute of New Jersey starting at 2 p.m., also on the 100 level.

This year various offices housed in Frist will host "Meet and Greets." Student Agencies will welcome visitors from noon to 4 p.m. in the newly renovated Frantz Student Activity Center, Frist 201A. The LGBT Center will welcome visitors from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Frist 246.
