Library offers research help via online chat
Posted October 13, 2006; 06:39 p.m.
The University Library is continuing its instant messaging service
for Princeton students, faculty and staff with reference questions.
Building on a successful online program started this past spring, the
library is offering its "Chat Live With a Librarian" service from 5 to
11 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 5 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, 1
to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 9 to 11 p.m. Sundays.
Princeton students, faculty and staff can ask reference questions by
using their AOL, Yahoo, MSN or ICQ accounts. Patrons should simply add
"LIBCHATPUL" to their buddy lists for AOL, Yahoo and MSN or add
217761456 for ICQ.
For more information, visit the library's Web site.
