Music ensemble to perform, Oct. 24

The Manhattan School of Music Contemporary Ensemble TACTUS will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in Taplin Auditorium, Fine Hall.

The group, directed by Patti Monson, is dedicated to providing young performers with opportunities to study present-day works with contemporary composers. The concert will feature primarily large chamber pieces and will include music by Princeton graduate student composers Betsey Biggs, Seth Cluett, Michael Early, Judd Greenstein, Scott Smallwood and Samson Young.

It is sponsored by the Composers’ Ensemble and the Department of Music.
