French theater workshop to perform, Dec. 13

L'Atelier,
Princeton's French theater workshop, will present "Fragments VI," a
student recital of scenes from classical French theater, at 8 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the Matthews Acting Studio, 185 Nassau St.
Directed by faculty member Florent Masse, the students enrolled in
French 211 will perform excerpts from Moliere's "Le Tartuffe" and "Les
femmes savantes," Ionesco's "La lecon," Marivaux's "Le jeu de l'amour
et du hasard" and "La seconde surprise de l'amour," Koltes' "Roberto
Zucco" and "Dans la solitude des champs de coton," and Racine's
"Andromaque."
The event is sponsored by the Department of French and Italian and the Center for French Studies. Admission is free, but reservations are advised by e-mailing the center.
