Quartets to perform Mackey's music, March 12

Two renowned string ensembles will perform the works of Princeton music professor Steven Mackey at a Composers' Ensemble concert at 8 p.m. Monday, March 12, in Taplin Auditorium, Fine Hall.

The award-winning Brentano String Quartet, which became the first quartet-in-residence at Princeton in 1999, and the acclaimed Borromeo String Quartet will perform works such as "Lude," "Ars Moriendei" and a piece for two quartets, "Gaggle and Flock."

Admission is free.
