Nash Ensemble performs, March 31-April 1

The Nash Ensemble of London will present two free concerts Saturday and Sunday, March 31-April 1,in Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall.
The ensemble will perform a 40-minute program of works especially chosen for children at 10 a.m. Saturday. There will be a question-and-answer time and an opportunity to meet the musicians.
The group also will perform works of Haydn, Ravel, Francaix and Brahms as well as world premières of works by Princeton composition graduate students Scott Smallwood and Betsey Biggs in a Friends of Music concert at 3 p.m. Sunday.
For well over a decade, on a biannual basis, the Nash Ensemble has been in residence at Princeton, offering public concerts, master classes, composers' workshops, performance coachings and other activities. The group enjoys a worldwide reputation as one of Britain's finest and most adventurous chamber ensembles.
The events are sponsored by Princeton University Concerts.
