Hillel officials to kick off anniversary, March 28

Edgar Bronfman, chairman of Hillel International, and Wayne Firestone, president of the Jewish campus life organization, will spend Wednesday, March 28, at Princeton University's Center for Jewish Life/Hillel meeting with University faculty members, administrators, student leaders and other community members.

The visit will kick off the center's yearlong celebration of 60 years of organized Jewish life on campus.

Bronfman and Firestone will lead interactive discussions on the community's future and share insights about their own journeys, including one at 3 p.m. titled "Enriching Lives, Inspiring Commitment, Delivering the Future." Members of the University community who would like to attend should RSVP by calling (609) 258-3635.

Bronfman is the former chief executive officer of Seagrams Inc. and a noted philanthropist. Firestone has held leadership positions in Jewish communal affairs since his undergraduate years at the University of Miami.

The center is located at 70 Washington Road.
