Ballet Folklorico to perform, April 14

Ballet Folklorico de Princeton, the University’s traditional Mexican dance group, will present a show titled "Quinto Sol" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the Frist Campus Center Film and Performance Theater.
Founded in 1991, Ballet Folklorico de Princeton is a student organization dedicated to performing and spreading an appreciation for the traditional folk dances of Mexico. This year's show is a celebration of dance from the Mexican regions of Veracruz, Guerrero, Jalisco and Baja California Sur. There also will be a live Mariachi band performing songs upon request.
Tickets are $5 for students, faculty, staff and the general public; and free for Tiger Tickets holders. They can be obtained at the Frist Campus Center or online through University Ticketing.
The event is sponsored by the Program in Latin American Studies and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students.
