Three Irish poets to read, April 20

Irish poets Vona Groarke, Conor O'Callaghan and Justin Quinn will read from their works at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the Stewart Film Theater, 185 Nassau St.
Groarke's poetry collections include "Shale," "Other People's Houses," "Flight" and "Juniper Street." O'Callaghan's works include "The History of Rain," "Seatown" and "Fiction" as well as numerous poetry reviews and writings on sports.
Groarke and O'Callaghan, who are married, are currently visiting professors of English at Wake Forest University.
Quinn's collections include ''The 'O'o'a'a' Bird,'' ''Privacy,'' ''Fuselage'' and ''Waves and Trees.'' He currently is working on a book that looks at 200 years of Irish poetry and is serving as a visiting professor of Irish literature at Villanova University.
