Robert Kuttner, a founding co-editor of The American Prospect, will deliver a lecture titled "Trade and Equality" at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in 219 Burr Hall.
Kuttner founded the political magazine with Princeton scholar Paul Starr and Robert Reich, who served as U.S. Secretary of Labor under President Clinton. Kuttner's talk will explore whether globalization must undercut the protections of the advanced welfare state, the subject of a book he currently is writing.
The talk is sponsored by the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies.
