Immigration panel set for Oct. 3

The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs will host a panel discussion titled "Debating Immigration" at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall.
Carol Swain, a professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University who focuses on race, immigration, black leadership and evangelical politics, will moderate the discussion.
Panelists will include Roger Hernandez, a nationally syndicated columnist who writes about issues concerning Hispanic Americans; Douglas Massey, Princeton's Henry G. Bryant Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs; Peter Schuck, the Simeon E. Baldwin Professor of Law at Yale Law School; and Robert Wuthnow, Princeton's Gerhard R. Andlinger '52 Professor of Sociology, director of the Center for the Study of Religion and chair of the Department of Sociology.
This event is cosponsored by the James Madison Program on American Ideals and Institutions, the Center for the Study of Religion, the Program in Latin American Studies and the Center for Migration and Development.
