Posted October 18, 2007; 05:16 p.m.
L'Atelier, Princeton's French theater workshop, will perform Bernard-Marie Koltes' "Roberto Zucco" at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 24-25, in the Matthews Acting Studio, 185 Nassau St.
The performance will be directed by Florent Masse, a lecturer in the Department of French and Italian who founded L'Atelier in 2001. This is the workshop's ninth full-length production in French and its first contemporary play performed after a series of classical French plays.
Koltes is considered one of the most celebrated French playwrights of the late 20th century. "Roberto Zucco" (1990) is based on the real-life story of serial killer Roberto Succo.
The performance is sponsored by the Department of French and Italian and the Center for French Studies. Admission is free, but reservations are encouraged. To reserve seats, contact email@example.com.
