International bazaar set for Dec. 2

share | e-mail | print"Emerge! A Global Bazaar," which celebrates international development initiatives, cultures and the arts, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, in the Chancellor Green Rotunda.
The bazaar will feature a variety of handcrafted goods from around the world, made available through support from the Grassroots Business Initiative of the World Bank and from Global Goods Partners, a nonprofit organization that promotes development initiatives in Asia, Africa and the Americas.
The event also will include food, music, artwork, dance performances and audio-visual presentations. It is sponsored by Emerge, a new student group, with support from numerous campus offices.
