The Run for the Tiger 5k walk and run to raise donations for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Save the Tiger Fund will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Forbes College garden.
The 11th annual run, organized by the student group Greening Princeton and open to the public, will begin outside Forbes College on Alexander Street and continue along the towpath of the Delaware and Raritan Canal.
The minimum donation is $10 for participants who register online, and $15 for those who register onsite starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. Individuals can pay the fee themselves or collect it through sponsors; a sponsorship form can be downloaded from the Greening Princeton website. All participants will receive a T-shirt and refreshments, and prizes will be awarded to the winners, as well as to the individual with the most sponsors.
Additional event sponsors include the Princeton Environmental Institute and several local merchants.
