The Princeton University Sinfonia, a student-conducted chamber orchestra, will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall.
Conducted by graduate student Ruth Ochs and junior Anna Wittstruck, the performance will include Prokofiev's popular "Peter and the Wolf" with narration by Lois Laverty, professor emerita at Westminster Choir College; Haydn's Cello Concerto in C Major with freshman John Pardon as a soloist; and Tchaikovsky's triumphant Symphony No. 3.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Department of Music.
