Student-made environmental films and podcasts to debut
Posted June 26, 2008; 05:27 p.m.
The Princeton Student Environmental Communication Network will present short documentary films and podcasts on environmental topics made by Princeton undergraduates at 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 11, in 302 Frist Campus Center.
The seven students have been participating in a four-week program, "Communicating Sustainability -- Summer Film and Radio Training." The goal of the program, offered by the University's Office of Sustainability, is to train undergraduates in the variety of skills needed to produce pieces intended for placement on radio, television and the Web.
The students will debut and discuss their completed projects, which focus on sustainability efforts both on and off campus. The event is open to the public and will be followed by an ice cream reception at 4:30 p.m.
